I've included it because I wanted to call attention to some exceptional family centered memoirs such as Stitches, The Glass Castle, and This Boy's Life. By that I mean exactly how many times Wolff used his “creative license. Another is Gabriel Garcia Marquez's Living to And of course Diary of Anne Frank. In '67 Whiskey', a compelling new fictional memoir by David Martinez, the author's own experiences prove that those who serve are still only human. I recommend heartily several men's memoirs, including the classic This Boy's Life and Frank McCourt's books.
